Simulating toxicokinetics of plant protection products within a bee hive to predict exposure concentration of bees – a feasibility study

This project examines the feasibility of a model to predict the toxicokinetics of plant protection products in the bee hive. The model shall predict the distribution of plant protection products in the hive and the pollution in the different compartments of the hive when the plant protection product entry is given.
The project comprises
- a detailed literature survey
- the development of a model concept
- the implementation of a first rough TK model
- the analysis and documentation of the gathered data
